    1. I think this is the last book in the series for me I ve read them all now but not in order.I really enjoyed the portrayal of life in Upper Canada during the days of the Family Compact and the rebellions Good characters and decent stories Am sad that there are no .

    3. It is amazing to read a novel that deals with early Canada and Toronto and one that is so well written with excellent characters and an interesting plot A very enjoyable read
